Photo Project: Time

So for this project we had to freeze motion and blur motion. So I took the dogs and Mike to the dog park and took pictures of the dogs jumping off the dock. I also took pictures of some water fountains at a home development here in Gilbert. I made a trip to Tempe to take pictures of the new Light Rail(which I rode for the first time!). This was my favorite part of the project by far

For the second project it was all about Time and Space. Space being shallow depth of field and great depth of field and for Time we had to freeze motion and blur motion. Here is what I did for space shallow depth of field...

Photography Class-Project #1

Hey I thought I would post what I have been doing in photo class since some people have been asking about it. Our first project was a seeing project about exposure and using the "normal" focal length on my lens and getting distance shots and close up shots. I shot a playground in our neighborhood which had alot of little details and tons of color which I love!

So this weekend we went up to Snowbowl to go snowboarding for Heather's birthday. Me and Mike bought snowboarding stuff a month ago and this was my first time ever seeing snow and going boarding. It was a ton of fun...It took me a while to get the hang of it (Mike's teaching wasn't very good so Heather and Brig helped me out) so hopefully we can go again before the season is over so I can get more practice and stay off my butt!

Meet Riley

Meet Riley....he is our nephew and we got to meet him this weekend for the first time which was so cool. He's 6 months old and looks like Mike's brother all the way. He sure did love his Uncle Mike!

Valentines Day 2009

Valentines Day was a pretty normal day for us. We both worked then I came home and we exchanged gifts...i got a very nice bouquet of roses and a beanie for snowboarding(first time on the 21st!!!) and mike got 2 dvd sets and a long sleeve shirt for snowboarding. We went to dinner with Mike and Dana at Nello's which is always delicious ( plus they have my favorite dessert tiramsu). We also watched He's Just Not That Into You which was pretty good and funny...we all laughed quite a bit. Hope everyone had a great valentines day with their loved ones!
